Win11 upgrade issue

Hi,

I am upgrading some machines from Windows 10 to Windows 11 using a task sequence, but after deployment, some machines are showing 'waiting for content.' I have checked that the content is already distributed on the distribution point. I have also tried redistributing it, but it didn't help. I am not seeing anything related to the issue in the CAS and Content Transfer Manager logs. Please suggest which logs to check or how to fix this.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

1,Please help check the LocationServices.log and CcmMessaging.log to see if the clients can get correct management points and distribution points. Are the problematic clients in the same VLAN/subnet?

2,Also check the smsts.log to see if there is any useful information.

Thanks for your time. Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Simon

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

How many DPs do you have, have all the DPs got the packages/contents? Also make sure you have configured the boundaries and boundary groups correctly and associated the DPs and MPs with your boundary groups.

    Best regards,

    Simon
