Hi,
I own a Legion 7 15MHg05 gaming laptop (approx 4 years old) and have been facing frequent crashes with and without BSODs lately on my Windows 10 laptop for the past 2 months, usually when I'm running youtube or doing mundane Word/Powerpoint tasks, never during gaming. I've had to reset the PC every time to resolve the problem as no suggested solutions through dism, sfc scan now approaches worked. After resetting the PC, there were no crashes for a limited amount of time (for several days), but they eventually come back. In my latest reset, I disabled windows update, thinking it could be the updates that were causing my problems. For as long as I denied windows update, my laptop was working fine for like more than a week. However, I've noticed when Windows forced an update in on my device yesterday (23rd July 2024), my device has started crashing like crazy again immediately the day after. Therefore, I have no choice but to reset the PC again and so far its working fine.
Before resetting, I have tried to uninstall the latest updates (KB5011048 and KB5039884) (both were installed in the latest update), hoping it would repair or stop the crashing, but it didn't work. For the past few weeks, the first error logs I've received immediately after crashes were a DPTF related error (Event ID: 17) and TPM-WMI (Event ID: 1796). Quick google search led me to identifying it as Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework (DPTF). I tried updating the DPTF driver once but it did not resolve the problem. Only solution that worked for me was to reset the PC. Below are info on the error:

It would be great if you can help diagnose the problem I'm having, or at least tell me how to stop Windows from installing the two windows updates I've stated above that was causing me problems. Thank you.
