Fix "No bootable device" Windows 11.

I merged C and D drives in Windows 10, and there was no problem. When I decided to update to Windows 11, it kept having a blue screen and showed a "No bootable device" message. Upon monitoring my bios, I discovered that my HDD 1 kept disappearing and reappearing. I checked the status of my SDD through the Hard Disk Sentinel app, and the results were healthy and perfect. Also, there are no disconnected cables or damages made to my SDD. I assume the problem was because I merged my C and D drives in Windows 10, and Windows 11 has a problem with its boot sequence. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Hello,

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    Step 1: Check BIOS Settings

Boot Order: Ensure that the SSD is set as the primary boot device in your BIOS settings.

Secure Boot: Disable Secure Boot temporarily to see if it resolves the issue.

UEFI/Legacy Mode: Make sure your system is set up to boot in UEFI mode, as Windows 11 requires UEFI firmware support.

    Step 2: Boot Repair

Use a Bootable USB: Create a bootable USB drive with the Windows 11 installation media.

Repair the Boot Configuration Data (BCD): Use the command prompt from the Windows 11 installation media to run the following commands:

    bootrec /fixmbr

    bootrec /fixboot

    bootrec /scanos

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
