Hello,

I can't set Windows 11 to :

Ask for a password on Windows startup

Ask for a password at startup after a hibernation

Not to ask for a password after the computer goes into classic sleep mode (screensaver with images is disabled. "Screen off" in power setting is on with 5 minutes delay before powering off the screen).

Thanks in advance

    Hello

To achieve your desired settings in Windows 11, follow these steps:

    Password Prompt at Startup:

Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.

    Type netplwiz and press Enter.

In the User Accounts window, select your user account.

Check the box that says “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.”

Click Apply and enter your current password if prompted.

    Password Prompt after Hibernation:

    Open Settings (Windows + I).

Go to Accounts > Sign-in options.

Under Require sign-in, select When PC wakes up from sleep and set it to Every time.

    Disable Password Prompt after Sleep:

    Open Settings (Windows + I).

Go to Accounts > Sign-in options.

Under Require sign-in, set it to Never for sleep mode.

These steps should help you configure your system to ask for a password only at startup and after hibernation, but not after sleep.
