I'm going to upgrade my test lab to the latest Configuration Manager 2403, but failed with the below error. What should I do to get the newest version of Configuration Manager?

Remove the certificate registration point site system role and all policies for company resource access features in Configuration Manager. These features are no longer supported as of March 2022 in Configuration Manager. Company resource access includes email, certificate, VPN, Wi-Fi, and Windows Hello for Business profiles.

    Hello Silas

    Can you try these steps:

Here are the steps to help you resolve the issue:

    1. Remove Certificate Registration Point site system role: Go to the Configuration Manager console, navigate to Administration > Site Configuration > Site Systems, and remove the Certificate Registration Point site system role. This will prevent any issues with certificate-based authentication.
    2. Remove Company Resource Access features: Go to Assets and Compliance > Overview > Company Resource Access, and disable or remove any policies related to:
      • Email
        • Certificate
          • VPN
            • Wi-Fi
              • Windows Hello for Business profiles
              1. Review and update any custom configurations: Check your custom configurations, scripts, and policies to ensure they don't rely on these unsupported features.
              2. Backup your site: Before making any changes, take a backup of your Configuration Manager site to ensure you can roll back if needed.
    3. Upgrade your site: After removing the unsupported features, you should be able to upgrade your Configuration Manager site to version 2403.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

Agree with @glebgreenspan . To resolve the error, you need to delete all Resource Access profiles and associated deployments and move the co-management workload for Resource Access (if co-managed) to Intune. Reevaluate the prerequisite rules, which allows you to proceed with upgrade.
