Reconfiguring Alerts on Restored Azure SQL Databases

Is it expected that I need to reconfigure alerts on a restored Azure SQL database?

PS - Based on common issues that we have seen from customers and other sources, we are posting these questions to help the Azure community.

    Yes, it is expected that you need to reconfigure alerts on a restored Azure SQL database. When you restore a database, the alert configurations do not automatically carry over. Alerts are considered individual components and are not included in the database backup. Therefore, after restoring your database, you will need to manually set up your alerts again to ensure they function as intended.
