APIM Consumption platform version mtv1

The API Management stv1 platform is going to be officially retired at August, 31st as per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/api-management/breaking-changes/stv1-platform-retirement-august-2024.

I have API Management in the consumption tier which is hosted in mtv1 platform.

Will mtv1 be impacted? Based on Advisor services retirement workbook it seems so.

In that case, how to create a new consumption tier on the v2 platform? Currently creating a new consumption tier APIM land still on mtv1 platform?

    @Alessandro Pantano Thanks for reaching out. mtv1 is related to Consumption SKU which cannot be vnet integrated and is a shared resource. so completely different.

    STV1 uses classic cloud Virtual Machines, while STV2 uses Virtual Machine Scale Sets which is a better environment with added security and resilience.

    APIM consumption (mtv1) are not impacted by the stv1 retirement on the 31st of August.
