How to revert back to the "old" experience for Microsoft Lists?

I read the 2/27/24 response from Haoyan Xue_MSFT about why my SharePoint lists are all screwed up, and I read through all the responses of how to "fix" it, including a creative one that leverages PowerApps, but I want to know whether Microsoft is actually going to offer an option to revert back to the former (BETTER) display. In addition to the complaints about tabs being horizontal instead of a dropdown, column fields also display the entire entry instead of truncating it to a preview. While I understand our use of the field for lengthy narrative text might not be best practice, we do indeed use SharePoint for such documentation and the previous view was better. Please fix this. Thank you!

    Hi @Iniobong Nkanga ,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience of new lists user experience to you. Until now, there is no option to return back to previous lists user experience.

Meanwhile, thank you for your feedback and suggestion. We did receive many similar voices recently. We appreciate your input.

However, the nature of the forum is to help users solve problems during use, and we can't help you more with advice on product development, so thank you for your understanding.

To more conveniently switch between the new and old lists user experience, I recommend you open a service request with Microsoft or give suggestion in the feedback portal. This is the fastest way to bring this to the attention of Microsoft product designers. Many features of current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
