Unable to login with PIN after Windows 11 update

Following Windows 11 update on 26 Jul 2024 unable to login using PIN. Account registered email is no longer available and I can't remember the password. Without logging in I have no access to account settings. How do I get the PIN login back?

    This error often occurs after installing a security update. If your operating system cannot recognize your current pin, you will receive an error.
