Device disconnected sound constantly playing

For no reason today, my computer started making the device disconnected sound about every 2-3 seconds. I looked it up online, and none of the other questions were quite the same issue or none of the answers worked. The Device manager refreshes every time the sound plays, making it hell to try and determine what the problem is, but I have determined it to be the wireless keyboard that I use. If I ignore the sound my computer functions perfectly fine.

I have tried checking the drivers. If I unplug the keyboard the sound keeps going. If I uninstall the keyboards drivers the sound stops, but then I can't use my keyboard, which is a little important. I ran a thorough virus scan and nothing came up. I tried changing the "control panel > Hardware and sound > Power options > edit plan settings > usb settings > USB selective suspend settings > enabled" to disabled.

Nothing except disabling my keyboard works, and I can't realistically do that.

    Hello,

If your wireless keyboard operates via Bluetooth, check your Bluetooth driver and ensure it is up-to-date.

If your wireless keyboard is a USB device, verify whether there is poor contact with the PC, which may indicate a hardware issue.
