Hi, I have three windows devices and the latest update has wounded two and killed a third (sadly my main work computer- Surface Laptop Studio 2). I've had to re-boot install from USB. This kind of worked with a lot of errors and shut down problems, rollbacks, retries etc.
Once I was able to get some function back MS hit the system with the exact 'mandatory update' that had infected it before plus a barrage of bloat and spyware to drain my weeks data allowance..
Advice on MS website suggests 'package updates' of unknown content and functionality, yay...more bloatware....no drivers...no fixed problems.
Is it possible for users to find the one driver needed and download and install it? Does such a logical approach exist in the world of Microsoft?
The other advice (from one of MS's IT experts) is to find the NON EXISTANT drivers in the device manager....even after clarification he suggested it again only worded differently...probably your AI answering machine.
Look.. mission accomplished: my system is chockers full of potential subscriptions and network background task ferrying my personals back and forth....now can I please get the directions to where I can download the keyboard drivers for a Surface Laptop studio 2. Not a package, not an update. A single driver file. While I'm here: why do I have to give you my personal details and sign my rights away just to ask a question here? Wait ... it's for my security isn't it?
