Calculate Total Value

How do I loop through Grid1 and get the "Total Credits" for each student in Grid2? For example: The student ID 99 should have 12 in the "TotalCredits" column in Grid2.

I am using DevExpress but it could be similar for any grid control.

Hi

Here is one way to do it. This version does not use any binding (you don't say if you are using binding). This is just an example with NO exception handling. It does minimal attempt to update the results DFV if values are changed in the first DGV. If you do have many need for 'linking' things like this together, there is a much better way to do so - using binding.

Anyway, here is the example code. Designer DGV1 and DGV2 both with suitable columns.

BTW: in my example above, I am using standard DataGridViews an not 3rd party ones. I also removed an unnecessary line of code.
