In my organisation security team was created lot of tickets based on defender vulnerability management recommendations like update python, update winscp application, update Mozilla Firefox, update .net framework. These applications are not a Intune managed and it's downloaded by the users. How can I update these applications. Please suggest any suitable way to update that applications. I ve tried to deploy new versions of that applications and it's installed in some devices and some throwing some errors. If the application is installed in device that old version application is still showing in the decoverd apps in intune. Please give me a good suggestion to resolve this..Thanks in advance

    You have 4 options;

    1. Intune Suite license with Application Management feature which includes updates for some apps.
    2. Third party solution for Intune like Robopack or Patch My PC
    3. Wrap & pack new version of applications or upgrade installers yourself
    4. Use Winget against winget repository. You might want to read my blogs regarding this here and here.
