Hello,
Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.
Yes, you can disable the Terminal Server to show all printers in Print Management and connect printers manually to each user. Here's how:
- Open Print Management by going to Start > Administrative Tools > Print Management.
- In the Print Management console, expand the server node and then click on the Printer Pools node.
- Right-click on the printer pool that you want to modify and select "Properties" from the context menu.
- In the Printer Pool Properties window, go to the "Drivers" tab.
- Under the "Drivers" tab, select the driver that you want to use for the printer connection and click on the "Set as Default" button.
- Click on the "OK" button to save the changes.
- Now, connect the printer manually to each user's computer by following these steps: - Go to Start > Control Panel > Devices and Printers. - Right-click on an empty area in the Printers and Other Hardware window and select "Add a printer" from the context menu. - In the Add Printer Wizard, select the option to add a local printer and then click on the "Next" button. - Choose the port to which the printer is connected and then click on the "Next" button. - Select the manufacturer and model of your printer from the list of available printers and then click on the "Next" button. - Follow the remaining prompts in the wizard to complete the printer installation process.
By disabling the Terminal Server to show all printers in Print Management and connecting printers manually to each user, you can ensure that each user only sees the printers that are relevant to them.
I hope the information above is helpful.
Best Regards,
Yanhong Liu
