Is it possible to access a backup of a virtual machine in Azure, when the backup no longer appears in the list because it has expired?

    Hello Sofex

    Unfortunately, once a backup in Azure has expired and no longer appears in the list, it cannot be accessed or restored.

    You can add new retention category(weekly/monthly/yearly) but any changes to the existing policy will be applicable only for future recovery points.

    Try to open Azure Support Request, they could restore backup
