Unable to register for a Microsoft/Azure account with business email

I'm attempting to set up a new Microsoft account using a business email address to register and utilize the Azure platform. However, despite completing the verification process, I encounter the following error message:

There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later.

Is there a policy on the Azure platform, or within Microsoft in general, that restricts the use of business email addresses for account creation?

I've tried clearing the cache and using different browsers, as recommended in various Q&As. Nevertheless, the problem has persisted for several days now.

    Hello Ankit Kumar,

    Thanks for your question.

No, there is no policy that prevents use of business emails.

Can you please retry in an InPrivate Browser or Edge?

If this does not work, maybe try using an alternate email address temporarily to create the account and then add your business email as an alias once the account is set up

You can mark it 'Accept Answer' and 'Upvote' if this helped you

    Regards,

    Abiola
