I have Standard S1 App Service Pricing Plan. I have 5 App Service Domains. 4 of the 5 App Service Domains are in use. I am trying to purchase a new Custom Domain through my Azure subscription and get the message that SubscriptionExceededMaxDomainLimit.
Steps to reproduce:
From the Azure App Service page click Create New App.
My subscription defaults so I select Resource Group.
I enter domain details.
The domain is available.
I click next > contact information.
I enter my contact information.
I click next > Advanced.
I leave the privacy enabled.
I click next > tags.
I don't enter any tags.
I click next > review and create.
I get the error message
{"code":"InvalidTemplateDeployment","details":[{"code":"ValidationForResourceFailed","message":"Validation failed for a resource. Check 'Error.Details[0]' for more information.","details":[{"code":"SubscriptionExceededMaxDomainLimit","message":"Subscription has reached the limit for the number of App Service domain resources that can be created."}]}],"message":"The template deployment 'Microsoft.Web-AppServiceDomains-Portal-xxxxxxxx-xxxx' is not valid according to the validation procedure. The tracking id is 'xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx'. See inner errors for details."}
I have a payment history of 4 years and 2 months on this plan. So not lack of payment history.
I have no spending limits on my payment method. So it's not spending limits.
I have tried to find out if maybe the plan being sunsetted is my issue but sales is of no help on 2 attempts in that department.
