The Azure AI Fast Transcription API is currently available in public preview, meaning you can start using it now. This preview allows you to transcribe audio files rapidly with predictable latency, which is useful for tasks like generating subtitles or translating videos. However, please note that since it's in preview, it's not recommended for production workloads.

To start using the API, follow these steps:

Set Up Your Azure AI Speech Resource: Ensure you have an Azure AI Speech resource set up in one of the supported regions (Central India, East US, Southeast Asia, or West Europe).

Prepare Your Audio File: Your audio file should be less than 2 hours long and under 200 MB. Make sure it's in a format supported by the API.

Make a Request: You can use the REST API to submit your audio file for transcription. Construct your request with the required parameters such as locales, profanityFilterMode, and channels, and make a multipart/form-data POST request to the transcription's endpoint.

Try Azure AI Studio: You can also test the Fast Transcription feature directly in the Azure AI Studio interface, where you can upload your audio files and get transcriptions quickly.
