Zoom and Azure Provisioning Configuration

I'm looking into setting up provisioning for Zoom using Azure. What kind of provisioning does Azure support for Zoom currently? I read online that it supports auto/SCIM-based provisioning, however I wanted to clarify. Additionally, is this auto/SCIM provisioning with Zoom and Azure one-way sync (changes propagated from Azure to Zoom) or bidirectional sync (changes are shared between Azure and Zoom).

Also, within my Zoom environment, the information for my users when compared to my Azure users is not fully synced up. Do I have to do any manual work on my end to sync up this information before enabling SCIM provisioning? Additionally, when configuring provisioning, does Azure have it so that I can set up roles/licenses for my users who already exist and then push over to Zoom to sync up these changes? I want to ensure that when I enable SCIM provisioning, I do not accidentally cut-off users' access to Zoom due to role/licensing mismatch. Thanks!

@Danish Abbasi Thank you for reaching out to us, Azure supports SCIM-based provisioning for Zoom. This means that you can use Entra ID/Azure AD to automatically provision and deprovision users in Zoom. The provisioning process is one-way, meaning that changes made in Entra ID/Azure AD are propagated to Zoom, but changes made in Zoom are not propagated back to Entra ID.

Reviewed the capabilities this integration supports in this doc - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/saas-apps/zoom-provisioning-tutorial

    Reference:

    https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0064121

Review the user attributes that are synchronized from Microsoft Entra ID to Zoom in the Attribute-Mapping section. The attributes selected as Matching properties are used to match the user accounts in Zoom for update operations.

Let me know if you have any further questions, feel free to post back.
