Hi Vitor Ferreira,
Thank you for posting in the Q&A Forums.
Check the driver:
Make sure you have the latest Elgato Cam Link driver installed on your computer. You can download the latest driver from Elgato's official website.
After installing or updating the driver, restart your computer to make sure all settings take effect.
Check the power supply:
Make sure the camera has sufficient power supply. For some cameras, direct power supply via USB may not be sufficient, especially when the camera is recording high quality video. Consider using an external power supply or powering the camera through an AC adapter.
Replace the USB port:
Try connecting the Cam Link to another USB 3.0 port on your computer, preferably one on the motherboard (not a front or expansion card port), which typically provide more consistent power and bandwidth.
If possible, try using a USB 3.1 or USB-C port (if available), which typically offer higher bandwidth and more stable connections.
Check cables and adapters:
Make sure the micro-HDMI to HDMI cable you're using is high quality and not damaged.
Check that the Cam Link's USB cable is also high quality and not damaged or making poor contact.
Software Compatibility:
Check that the video capture software or webcam software you are using is compatible with the Cam Link. Try testing with Elgato's own software (e.g. Game Capture HD) or other reputable video capture software.
Make sure your operating system and all related software is up to date.
Turn off unnecessary USB devices:
Try turning off other unnecessary USB devices while connected to the Cam Link to minimize potential power or bandwidth conflicts.
Check the Device Manager:
Open Device Manager to see if there are any warning or error messages related to USB or the camera.
If any errors exist, try updating the driver or uninstalling and reinstalling the device.
Best regards
NeuviJ
