Hello,

We use Outlook 365 together with an OnPrem Exchange 2019.

For some time now, we have had the problem with all users that embedded images are replaced by the string < OLE object: Picture (Device Independent Bitmap) >> when replying to emails.

We did not have this behavior before and it also affects e.g. mails from internal users within the Exchange infrastructure, so that we can rule out problems with the e-mail format of external senders.

All the workarounds we have found, such as manually adapting the format or solving this with a VBA script, are not an option for our company.

It has worked without any problems so far.

Does anyone have any idea what triggers this behavior and how it can be reversed?

Many thanks for your feedback

Dennis
