I lost access to my VM. It says the password is incorrect when I try to log in via RDP.
Tried resetting the local admin password via Azure portal - the change was successful, but I'm still getting the same error when I try to log in.
Tried rebooting the VM, but the problem persists.
I'm unsure about what else I could do.
Appreciate your help!

if the password contains special characters did you check the keyboard layout (language) of the login screen?

I basically copied and pasted from my password manager, both to do the password reset operation, as well as to configure my rdp profile in Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac.

Based on your latest comment you are using the password with the copy and paste.
I suggest you to enter the password with the manually and let us know if still facing any issue with the screenshot.
