Hi how to copy same file name like ' in sheet name for coping data from excel sheet to blob storage ig. Excel sheet name is test1 and sheet name is test1 and some characters.. How to copy these files blob storage

if i understand your ask correctly, can you try the following?

in source settings:

While copying in adf, specify the sheet name. For instance, In the File loading behavior, select the option to load data from a specific sheet. You can specify the sheet name as "test1" here.

in destination:

In the File name field, you can set the output file name to match the sheet name. You may need to use dynamic content to achieve this, for example, by using an expression like @concat('test1', '.xlsx') to ensure the file name is "test1.xlsx".

It should take dynamically for an example File1 --- file1_1 ,, file2 --- file2_1 it should lookup like conditions ie sheet name like 'file1%' so file should read and take sheet using like conditions

is this the approach you are trying? can you explain

Use a Lookup activity to read the sheet names from the Excel file.

Configure the Lookup activity to connect to your Excel file in Blob Storage.

Set the First row only option to FALSE so that it retrieves all rows, which will include all sheet names.

Get Metadata Activity:

After the Lookup activity, add a Get Metadata activity to get the metadata for the Excel file.

Set the dataset to point to your Excel file in Blob Storage.

In the field list, select Sheet names to retrieve the names of all sheets in the Excel file.

Filter Sheet Names:

Add a Filter activity to filter the sheet names based on your criteria (e.g., using a condition like @contains(item().name, 'file1')). This will allow you to dynamically filter sheet names that match your pattern (like 'file1%').
