Hybrid AD Join Prerequisites for Exchange

Hello All, we are planning to go for hybrid AD environment i.e. Local AD and Entra Id. As of now our Mail Server is hosted on another cloud provider and are planning to migrate to Microsoft 365.We want to keep our Exhnage services on Cloud(i.e. off 365 ) and not on -prem. What are the prerequisites for Hybrid AD Environment and the Exchange online to work? Please share supported MS Docs for the same.
