Why can't I disable this extension "IEtoEDGE BHO issue"?

Why can I not disable this extension? I have checked numerous places and it seems like alot of users have had this issue. Some posts from 2017.

You can try to modify the registry to disable IEtoEDGE BHO:

Type Registry Editor in the search bar to open the Registry Editor and locate the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Ext\CLSID

Find the key value named "{1FD49718-1D00-4B19-AF5F-070AF6D5D54C}" on the right and set its value to 0.

Note If you modify the registry incorrectly, you can cause serious problems. Therefore, follow these steps carefully. For additional protection, back up the registry before you modify it.
