Hi,
Before reset the password of service account , you should check where is used to avoid impact the production environment.
If the service account is used to generate a keytab file , when you reset the password you will increase the KVNO value therefore you break the keytab and kerberos authentication for this reason. If you want reset it you have to generate a new keytab file.
