Hi,

I am using MDT Task Sequence with UDI designer. It is working fine but I have replaced the Images of UDI Wizard truth my own image. But if I run my TS it is still the default image of Microsoft and not my own image. I have updated after replacing the default images the MDT Toolkit Package and MDT Settings Package.

The images are located here

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Deployment Toolkit\Templates\Distribution\Tools\x86

the following Image I have replaced

STEP_01.bmp

STEP_02.bmp

STEP_03.bmp
STEP_04.bmp

STEP_05.bmp

That is default image "STEP_01.bmp"

User's image

put here my own image

User's image

what is here wrong?

    Hi,

It sounds like you’ve done a lot of the right steps, but there might be a few things to check to ensure your custom images are being used in the UDI Wizard.

    1. Verify Image Replacement: Double-check that the images you replaced in the directory C:\Program Files\Microsoft Deployment Toolkit\Templates\Distribution\Tools\x86 and C:\Program Files\Microsoft Deployment Toolkit\Templates\Distribution\Tools\x64 are indeed your custom images and not the default ones.
    2. Update MDT Toolkit Package: Ensure that the MDT Toolkit Package has been updated correctly. Sometimes, it might be necessary to delete the existing package and create a new one to ensure the changes are applied.
    3. Clear Cache: On the client machine where you are running the Task Sequence, clear the SCCM cache. This can be done by navigating to C:\Windows\ccmcache and deleting the contents. This ensures that the client downloads the latest version of the MDT Toolkit Package.
    4. Check Task Sequence: Make sure that the Task Sequence is referencing the correct MDT Toolkit Package. Sometimes, the Task Sequence might still be pointing to an older version of the package.
    5. Recreate Boot Image: If the above steps don’t work, try recreating the boot image and updating the distribution points.
