Hi friends,

In our organization , we would like to remove the outlook feature "Recall the message " from the desktop client through the group policy. we are using office 365 and from the admin portal we disabled the recall message option. But we don't want any users to find this "recall this message option from the action tab.

Tried possibilities:

There is no direct group policy to remove.

Downloaded the .admx & adml ,but still no policies found .

created a custom GP with the progID name and value 0.

Searched for a script from google and created adml and admx file but no luck.

In GP, disable add-in for this feature is not available.

Everything got failed.

Kindly help me to sort out this issue .

    Hi Nishant,

Try this : You can disable Ribbon interface items in Office applications via Group Policy. There may be keyboard shortcuts or other ways around it, but this will make it more difficult for your users to attempt to recall messages. The specific settings you need are going to be under `User Configuration | Administrative Templates | Microsoft Outlook 2010 | Disable Items in User Interface | Custom | Disable command bar buttons and menu items`. The Control ID for the Recall Message button is 2511 (Control Name: RecallThisMessage).
