Unable to remove payment method despite canceling all subscriptions and settling all invoices.

I am experiencing an issue where I am unable to remove a payment method from my Azure account. I have canceled all active subscriptions and have coAzurenfirmed that all invoices are marked as "Paid." Despite this, the system still does not allow me to detach the payment method.

Here are the steps I have taken:

  1. Canceled All Subscriptions: I have checked and confirmed that all subscriptions are canceled.
  2. Settled All Invoices: I have reviewed my billing section and ensured that there are no pending charges.
  3. Attempted to Remove Payment Method: I tried to remove the payment method through the "Payment methods" section, but the system does not allow me to do so.

The system indicates that there may be pending charges or subscriptions, but I have confirmed that there are none. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue and removing the payment method from my account?

    I understand that you cancelled all the subscriptions and settled all the invoices. However, unable to remove/detach payment method. This could be due to following:

    Wait until the end of the billing period so charges are correctly calculated by Azure, then you will be able to delete your credit card without problems. As Azure subscription is already canceled you won't get any additional charges.

    To remove credit card, please follow the below steps:

    1. Sign in to the Azure portal at https://portal.azure.com/.
    2. Navigate to Cost Management + Billing. In the left menu list under Billing, select Payment methods.
    3. In the Payment methods area, on the row that the payment method is on, select the ellipsis (...) symbol and then select Delete. 156117-image.png
    4. In the Delete a payment method area, select Delete if all conditions are met. If Delete is unavailable, continue to the next step.
    5. Select the link shown in the Delete a payment method area. 156118-image.png
    6. When you select the corrective action link, you're redirected to the Azure page where you take action. Take whatever correction action is needed. If necessary, complete all other corrective actions.
    7. Navigate back to Cost Management + Billing > Billing profiles > Payment methods and delete the payment method.
