Pricing for Azure API Management Backup and restore

Question

I want to know that Is there any charge for taking backup of Azure API Managment to cross region Storage Account ? Or is this possible to take backup to the cross region Storage account ?

Please help with this. Thanks in advance.

Hello Manav, per the backup API documentation for APIM, you should be able to create a backup of the APIM service to any given storage account. So, technically your cross region storage should also be possible. @Manav Thanks for reaching out. As mentioned by Adharsh its possible to take backup to the cross-region Storage account.

Using the Azure API Management REST API to take backups of your API Management service and store them in a cross-region storage account does not incur any additional charges beyond the standard charges for the storage account itself.
