In order to address this problem effectively, we should collect additional information:
- What is the screen resolution currently configured on the desktop?
- Did this issue start occurring after any recent updates or new changes were made?
- What is the version number of your Remote Desktop (RD) client?
- Is your computer managed by your organization (for example, did you log in with a company account)? Have any Group Policies or Intune policies been applied?
Also please check the relevant local group policy setting on both device:
