I'm a linux user trying to figure out how to play audio in a Teams Meeting. I can't find documentation.
I also can't join a meeting from within the app but I posted a separate question about that.
Also, the forum keeps switching the tag from "teams-linux" to "office-teams-linux-itpro"

The correct tag for teams-linux is office-teams-linux-itpro. If you use the wrong tag, we are hard to find your case. Thanks for your understanding.

You can do that by sharing sound from your computer in a Teams meeting.
To share sound from your computer, select Share content 
in your meeting controls and then Include computer sound—it's the switch on the top left of your sharing options.

Unfortunately, as it says in the document that you shared, "Note: This feature isn't yet available on Mac devices, but it's coming soon."
Because the class we were planning to lead from Teams is being taught by an instructor team that includes Mac users, and the ability to play audio is non-negotiable for our purposes, we agreed that we need to use a video conference tool with true multi-platform support.
It is really inconvenient for Mac users.
I also tested in Teams web client. It isn't yet available on browsers.
Currently, it has no other good solutions but the Windows devices to play system audio in Teams meeting.
