I have a very strange situation for a user login into an AVD host.

The desktop launches fine. When the user then launches Outlook and is asked to sign-in they are unable to type their password or click the sign-in button; however they can click the 'X' to exit the dialogue box.

If you have dual screens, you can move the dialogue box to second screen and then you able to enter password. Move dialogue box back to primary screen and you are unable to type. The other way to be able to enter the password on primary screen is to minimize the Remote Desktop window and the bring back to full screen.

It looks like it must be losing focus somehow.

    Hi @Michael Seaney,

    Thank you for providing information.

Based on the error details you shared, I have shared troubleshooting steps that I felt will help resolve the issue you reported.

    • Ensure that the Windows 11 Enterprise multi-session host is up to date with the latest patches and updates.
    • As you mentioned, FSLogix 2.9.8884.27471 requires a sign-in to Outlook on every login. Try disabling modern authentication in FSLogix to see if it resolves the issue. You can do this by setting the EnableModernAuth registry key to 0.
    • Check the Outlook settings to see if there are any specific configurations that might be causing the issue. Try resetting Outlook to its default settings or creating a new Outlook profile.
    • Although you've disabled hardware acceleration in most apps, try disabling it specifically for Outlook to see if it makes a difference.

If you have any further queries, do let us know.
