I get this error when I try to install the SonicWall Global VPN client on a Windows 10 Precision laptop that has all the current updates

Error message is as follows: manage network component. The condition can be transient. If it persists, it maybe because your’re a member of the network configuration operations group on this computer. Members of this group cannot install network filter drivers.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

    Hello,

Based on the information you provided, I suggest you try the following steps to resolve this issue:

    1. Run the installation program as an administrator user, which can elevate the permissions required to install network components.
    2. Click Start and type gpedit.msc, then press Enter to start the Local Group Policy Editor. On the left side of the window, navigate to the following path: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Installer Then move to the right and double-click the policy named "Turn off Windows Installer". In the window that opens, select "Not Configured" in the radio box. Then click Apply and OK to save the changes.
