In AIX, virtual IP is used to assign an IP address to a group of network interfaces for redundancy at the interface level as given here in this document. Azure does not have the concept of virtual IPs nor assigning a single IP to multiple Interfaces. Azure only has Public and Private IP addresses which are assigned to a single network interface. However, you can assign multiple IPs to a single Network Interface. You can also have multiple NICs on a single VM in Azure Cloud but not assigning a single IP to multiple Interfaces as with AIX VIP.
