Hello, We have migrated from SCVMM 2012 R2 to 2019. After this migration our users lost permissions to edit "Custom properties" tab within each Virtual Machine. I cannpot find any useful informaton what permissions user need to have access to "Custom properties". Something changed in SCVMM 2019? Maybe those settings regarding Custom properties did not migrate? Users getting error: I have to change something in specific Cloud? Hello,
We have migrated from SCVMM 2012 R2 to 2019. After this migration our users lost permissions to edit "Custom properties" tab within each Virtual Machine. Users getting error: The user role "*" does not have sufficient permission to delpoy on the selected cloud.

I have to change something in specific Cloud?

Users have below permissions to cloud:
Checkpoint - create and manage
Deploy (from template only)
Local Administrator
Remote Connection
Shut down
Start
Stop

Is there a powershell cmdlet, script to verify appropriate permissions to have access to edit Custom properties on VM?

Any information much appreciate.

@MaciekK , Could you let us know what is the user role profile we used for this user role? Did we assign the user role to the cloud? Was the user added into the user role?

If there's any update, feel free to let us know.

User profile role for Administrator is administrator. Of course the user role was assigned to the cloud. User is already in this group.
User only have problems with editing Custom Properties within virtual machines in the cloud. The problemm occured after migration, we did not change anything in permissions.

I wrote above what permission user have to this cloud.

I have add "Deploy" permissions to the group where are the users and they can edit custom properties of the VMs.
There were some changes in SCVMM 2019? Before migration users had only permissions to Deploy (From template only) and they could edit Custom properties.

@MaciekK , Thanks for letting us know the latest status. i am glad to hear that after adding deploy permission, we can modify custom properties of the VMs. Thanks for sharing the solution here. I appreciate it.

For the change in VMM 2019, I have checked on "What's ne win VMM". But I don't find our change mentioned.
