I am writing to seek clarification regarding a backup process I recently conducted. While reviewing the backups for a specific folder, I observed that the latest recovery in the agent deployed on the server was different from what was shown in the recovery services vault.However, when I clicked on "More Details," I noticed that the recovery on the agent deployed appeared to be the same.

    @jihad majed Greetings!

    It appears there might be a discrepancy between the recovery information displayed in the agent and the Recovery Services Vault. This could be due to a delay in synchronization between the two or a display issue.

    To clarify this, you can check the backup configuration and ensure that the recovery points are correctly configured, and that the agent is properly synchronized with the Recovery Services Vault.

    Ensure that the dates and times of the recovery points match between the agent and the Recovery Services vault. If there’s a discrepancy in the timestamps, it might indicate a delay or synchronization issue.

    Sometimes, the issue might be due to a delay or temporary issue in synchronization between the agent and the Recovery Services vault. Force a synchronization in the Azure Backup agent by initiating a manual backup (on-demand) backup by using the "Backup now" option from Microsoft Azure backup agent console.

    Also, ensure you are running the latest version of Azure backup agent. Download the latest version of the Azure Backup agent

    If the issue persists and you cannot resolve the discrepancy, contact Microsoft Azure Support. Provide them with detailed information, including screenshots of the discrepancies, backup logs, and any error messages.

    Hope this helps. Please post a reply if you have any concerns or need further assistance.
