Hi,

I'M setting up an AVD multi session environment using FSLogix and a storage account for the user profiles.

I can get this working fine if I leave the storage account open to public access but as soon as i create a private endpoint and i configure FSLogix to use the IP instead of public endpoint it breaks, users then login with a local profile and the error log shows >

FindFile failed for path: xxxxxxxProfile.vhd (The user name or password is incorrect.)*

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

The storage account should be accessible only through the private endpoint, and the necessary DNS configuration should be in place to resolve the storage account's private IP address, and verify that Active Directory authentication is enabled on the storage account and that the correct NTFS permissions are set on the Azure File Share.

Make sure FSLogix is configured to use the UNC path of the storage account's private endpoint rather than the public endpoint. This involves setting the VHDLocations registry key to the UNC path of the file share
