Image not checking in, pending add forever

Hello,

I'm having an issue with my resources folder in visual studio. This image won't check in, and it's barring me from using it in my code so I'm not sure how to proceed. The resource folder has many images in it so that could be a problem. Below is my File properties, it's the same as all my other pngs in the resources file.

Hi @Connor Frayne ,

Make sure the Build Action is set to Resource instead of None. This ensures that the image is embedded as a resource in your assembly.

That didn't seem to work.

I'm wondering if it's the way that I added the resource; I right clicked Resources folder, Add, Existing Item, opened the PNG.

Hi @Connor Frayne ,

Instead of adding the PNG directly to the Resources folder, try adding it through the Visual Studio Resources tab:

Go to Project > Properties in Visual Studio.

Select the Resources tab.

In the Resources tab, click on Add Resource > Add Existing File... and choose your Legend.png file.

Unfortunately this method didn't check in my image either. Still Pending add. I'll probably have to go with Image.FromFile.
