Filter in SharePoint list 2013 does not work properly

Question

When I filter a column of SharePoint list it doesn't work. For example: The options are A, B, C and D of a column and total item count is 100.If the count of each option is 25 and if I select A I can see 25 items, but if I select A and B the whole list is displayed instead of 50.

I hope the issue is clear. Kindly help.

Hi @Vk,

Per my test, I could use the filter in SharePoint with two values.

And we can also go to list settings->click relevant view under Views section->scroll down to Filter section and select “Show items only when the following is true” and type the relevant column name and value.
