Confirmation: Entra ID Dynamic Group License Assignment

The following article states that in September, licenses should be assigned via groups in Microsoft 365 portal:

If licenses are currently assigned in Entra ID (via dynamic groups) must we switch over? It does not distinctly state this:

It still provides this a guide on the page where it states License assignment will be only available in Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.

    Thank you for posting this in Microsoft Q&A.

    You do not have to switch over anything. Earlier, there was a option to assign licenses either through Azure AD portal (Entra ID) or Office 365 admin center.

    The announcement indicates that starting September 1st, for license assignment you will have to access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
