authenticator app not working

hey! I was wondering if anyone had any advice.
I've been logged out of my work email and the only way it'll let me log back in is using the authenticator app (which just isn't working, it's not showing any code so i cant log back in).
I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, and also tried backing it up, but nothing seems to be working.
Does anyone have any advice? x

Try reaching out to your IT admin or support team, get them to reset your authenticator settings using the Azure Portal.
- Your IT personnel should use the tenant Global Administrator account to sign in to the Azure portal.
- Then, navigate to Azure Active Directory > Users > All users > Choose the user (in this case, it is you) > select Authentication methods > Require Re-register MFA.
- Once this is done, the next time you sign in, you will be requested to set up a new MFA authentication method.
