I just started this module after finishing the introductory module but on the first exercise it requires me to use the sandbox but it isn't there at all.
This question is related to the following Learning Module

In a separate tab, you can open below exercise sandbox (from the prerequisite module) to use:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/intro-to-git/2-exercise-configure-git
Once you get to Unit 5 Exercise there is a sandbox as well.
