Are you experiencing this error while using Teams Explore? If so, at the end of the 12-month subscription, the administrator should convert all Teams Explore users to a paid license that includes Teams. You cannot convert directly to the free version using your original account.
If the Teams Exploratory license ends and users don't immediately upgrade to a subscription that includes Teams, they lose access to Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint after the 30-day grace period. After another 30 days, the associated Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint data will be deleted. The user still exists in Azure Active Directory.
If you want to use the free version, you'll need to create an account from scratch, and none of your previous data will be retained.
