So after Windows 11 21H2+, Windows 11 became sluggish, slow ui responses, buggy etc and until today there is still no fix, even newest canary version has same issue.

So following Symptoms are happening.

New Folder Bug ( Slow response ):

When creating a folder on desktop, text appears first then the icon.

Symptome can be bypassed while double clicking it, what will refresh desktop with the second mouse click.

Explorer slow ui response, nothing to add here.

Possible bypass is, using explorer patcher - Win10/7 Explorer Style.

Programs and Features, Blackbox.

..

So those issues are happening after Windows 11 21H2, where XAML etc. was implemented into Explorer and..., i guess even for desktop?

Correct me if wrong.

Apperently those Symptoms are not happening for everyone, because i asked some people they dont have it, but most people having exact same issues.

The bugs exist from 21H2 upwards. (22H2, 23H2, 24H2 as well as Canary Insider.)

All builds tested after 21H2.

As well as Enterprise, Enterprise LTSC, Enterprise LTSC IOT etc.

Here is a Video with the symptoms...

    Hello

It sounds like you’re experiencing some frustrating issues with Windows 11, especially since the 21H2 update.

    Known Issues

New Folder Bug: This issue where the text appears before the icon when creating a new folder is a known problem. It seems to be related to the integration of XAML into the Explorer interface.

Slow Explorer UI Response: This sluggishness in the Explorer UI is another common complaint. The use of Explorer Patcher to revert to a Windows 10/7 style is a known workaround.

Programs and Features Blackbox: This issue might be related to the rendering problems introduced with the new updates.

    Potential Workarounds

Double-Click Refresh: As you mentioned, double-clicking to refresh the desktop can temporarily bypass the new folder bug.

Explorer Patcher: Using Explorer Patcher to revert to an older style can help mitigate some of the UI sluggishness.

Update Checks: Ensure that your system is up-to-date with the latest patches and updates from Microsoft, as they often release fixes for these issues.

    Additional Steps

Feedback Hub: Report these issues through the Windows Feedback Hub. The more reports Microsoft receives, the higher the priority for a fix.

Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app - Microsoft Support

It’s unfortunate that these issues persist across multiple versions and even in the Canary Insider builds. Hopefully, Microsoft will address these bugs in future updates.
