How do I stop Windows from restarting for updates until I want to restart MY computer? Not Microsoft's computer, but MY computer.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

You can control Windows Update by modifying the group policy, as follows:

    1. Use the Win+r shortcut key to open the Run bar and enter gpedit to open the Group Policy Editor.
    2. Navigate to Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Windows Update, and find the option to configure automatic updates.
    3. After double-clicking to enter, just change it to Enabled, and then configure the time for Windows Update in the options on the lower left.

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best regards
