Hi

Today i have received 5 emails from GoDaddy to various accounts that do not exist in my tenancy all asking me to validate a CSR for an SSL .

I have a few domains in Azure that all have SSL's purchased via Microsoft and are all set to auto-renew.

The content is to certs.godaddy.cn, the SSL assigned to that site is invalid, but GoDaddy say the domain is one of theirs.

I have looked on the Azure Portal and the SSL status on the site is "Pending Issuance".

I haven't had this kind of email before., so i was wondering has anyone seen these emails before from GoDaddy on auto-renewal SSL's?

thanks

    Resolved.

New procedure apparently for App Service SSL auto-renewals.

App Service SSL purchased via Microsoft and issued via GoDaddy need to have a validation of the CSR now.

the issue is, GoDaddy send emails to hostmaster@, postmaster@, admin@, info@ so if you do not have those email accounts they either get lost or stuck in Quarantine.

Separate issue, GoDaddy were incorrectly issuing a validation link to a site that didn't have a valid SSL assigned to it.

changed from .cn to .com and the validation worked.

Unfortunately the support from both sides was lacking in customer focus, one put the phone down and the other said they would come back to me in 7 days
