Intune Disaster Recovery and Environment backup / recovery options

What options does MS have for backing up the Intune environment and configurations, looking for a method to backup our current policies and configurations which would allow us to restore/import them in the case of a situation where our environment is compromised either by internal or external actors.

I have seen some third party options available, I am interested in whatever MS officially supports and/or offers.

    Hi @Deed, Robert

I think Microsoft365DSC https://microsoft365dsc.com/ might be helpful for you.

It allows to take a Snapshot of Existing Tenant configuration.

    Best regards,

    Aleksandr

@Deed, Robert, Thanks for posting in Q&A.

Honestly, there is no Microsoft official article about backup Intune. And Intune's backup is not automatically, it needs the company IT to do it manually.

Please refer to the following articles to get some information about Intune data backup and restore:

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-intune/how-to-create-a-backup-of-your-microsoft-endpoint-manager-intune/m-p/2990308

    Hope it will help.
