For azure document intelligence container service , first we have to make an 'analyze' api call and in response we will get an operation location header, and next we will make a get call with operation location header, is the second api call chargeable ? if I store the operation header in db. so that I can reuse for future calls can I save the cost involved.

How long the operation location header is valid. Does it has an expiry

    Hello Hamdhan Azeez,

    Thanks for your question.

Yes, the second API call to retrieve the analysis results using the operation location header is chargeable. They apply to the analysis itself

Storing the operation location in a database for future calls will not save costs

    See: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-au/pricing/details/ai-document-intelligence/

Official expiration time is usually 24 hours.

    See: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/document-intelligence/disaster-recovery?view=doc-intel-4.0.0
