Visio External Data

Is there a way to get me linked external data to pick up when I add new columns to the excel sheet? It is tracking changes in the columns that are showing up in Visio, but not seeing if I add new columns of information.

    Did you import the Excel workbooks into Visio file?
    If so, please go to Data > External Data group > Refresh All to check this issue.
